Seis Ranas - The Frog Valleys of the Aztecs

In 1976 the Cielo-11 broadcast satellite photographed a structure about one kilometre across in the Arequipa region of the Andes (Peru). The valleys had a striking resemblance to Freddo's face. Initially it appeared to be a rain-sculpted valley with steep sides and some geologists believed it owed its frog-head like appearance to the unusual lighting. However after more pictures and further similar discoveries (six in all), most respected scientists now believe that the "Seis Ranas" (Six Frogs) were probably carved by earlier civilisations, most probably Aztecs.

Quick Fact: The Aztec culture invented Chocolate. The substance was reserved for warriors, nobility and also as a form of currency.
